Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived by the sea.

Every morning, she was woken by the sound of conch shells.

One day, she woke up feeling very homesick and went to write a letter in the sand to Espuma do Mar.

This company, which comes to us from Ovar, presents us with a carefully crafted world made of colors and images, where two-dimensionality and three-dimensionality blend together, as if embodying the word, the sharing of the word, and the tranquility found in that very word, within a theatrical framework that invites us to reflect, to explore our emotions, and to experience a very powerful sensory connection.

The dialogue we’ve been having with this group and with the various projects that have visited us undoubtedly reinforces that there is a uniqueness here—a very distinctive approach that pulls us out of our reality and transports us to a dimension that “Imaginar do Gigante” explores so well: the dimension of the poetic image.

Our line of work has explored new creative processes, from text to new images, in the field of theatrical aesthetics to children.

We believe that the study of new hybrid and immersive, environmental and technological modalities can transform what we call the child from the future.
